The solid core version of this door reduces noise transmission between rooms by 50% over a standard hollow-core door and weighs about 70 lbs. This door is eco-friendly and is manufactured using post waste materials from renewable forests using a process that has extremely low VOC emissions and no added urea formaldehyde. It is booth FSC and LEED certified. HomeStory's durable, commercial grade paint is applied at the factory before the doors are installed and it comes in several popular colors designed to match other painted woodwork including moldings and baseboards.
